Our Net Zero 2050 commitment: how The Glue Group approaches sustainability

CEO and Group Managing Director, The Glue Group

Sustainability reporting has a credibility problem. Too many businesses publish commitments that are long on aspiration and short on specifics, framed to impress rather than inform. We want to do something different here - share what we are actually doing, acknowledge where we are constrained, and be honest about the distance between where we are today and where we need to be.

This is not a polished sustainability report. It is a straightforward account of The Glue Group's approach to environmental responsibility, social responsibility, and governance as of 2025 - reported in alignment with GRI standards and owned by me as CEO. We will update it as our position evolves.

Our commitment

The Glue Group is committed to reaching Net Zero emissions by 2050. That commitment sits at the group level and applies across all of our operating businesses - Trust Panda, Assistive Tech, Tech Dot, WHOOSH Australia, Illuminance Labs, and Show Flow.

As a primarily digital and e-commerce business, our operational footprint is materially lower than traditional retail or manufacturing models. We do not operate factories or vehicle fleets. But we do operate global logistics and fulfilment infrastructure, physical locations across three continents, and cloud-based technology systems - and each of those carries an emissions profile we are actively working to reduce.

100% Renewable energy across all cloud infrastructure and physical locations globally
40%+ Reduction in supply chain emissions vs 2023/24 baseline
95%+ Waste diverted from landfill across global physical locations

What we have done

Energy.
Our applications and infrastructure run on 100% renewable energy through our cloud service providers. All of our physical locations globally - Sydney, Auckland, Budapest, and California - operate on 100% renewable energy and have been retrofitted with energy-efficient lighting and HVAC systems.

Packaging.
As part of our 2023-2026 strategic plan we committed to eliminating plastics fromour shipping and logistics operations. From October 2025, all outbound shipping packaging is 100% recycled paper and cardboard - eliminating over 7 tonnes of plastic and single-use packaging annually. We are also working with our product supply chains to eliminate plastics at source.

Supply chain emissions.
More than 50% of our products now ship directly from their manufacturing facility to our distribution locations in Sydney, Auckland,Budapest, and California, reducing product kilometres and supply chain carbon emissions by more than 40% compared with the 2023/24 baseline. We are targeting 80% direct shipment by the end of 2026. From January 2025, our air freight contracts are 100% climate neutral, with at least 30% of fuel across any12-month period using Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF).

Last-mile delivery.
In Europe, we have partnered with GeoPost/DPD to decarbonise last-mile deliveries, with 16.3% of our European delivery kilometres already performed by low-emission electric vehicles in 2024 and a target of 100% carbon-neutral deliveries by 2040. In Australia, we continue to work with Australia Post, whose fleet is 30% electrified and tracking toward 100% carbon-neutraldeliveries by 2050.In NZ we are limited by NZ Post’s decision to walk away fromtheir carbon reduction targets but we still expect to make progress in this area in the years ahead.

Waste.
More than 95% of waste generated by our physical locations globally is now diverted for recycling. In 2024 we reduced our global annual landfill volume to 25 cubicmetres. The rollout of paperless warehouse picking, fully implemented by December 2025, will eliminate a further 117kg of paper use and reduce approximately 400kg of CO2 emissions annually.

Where we are constrained - and why we say so

There is a version of this article that does not mention last-mile delivery. It would read better. It would also be less honest. We choose honest.

The most significant emissions constraint we face is one we cannot solve unilaterally: last-mile delivery decarbonisation across globale-commerce networks. Our delivery partners - Australia Post in Australia and New Zealand, GeoPost/DPD in Europe - are making genuine progress. But the timeline to full decarbonisation depends on infrastructure, fleet replacement cycles, and energy grid transitions that are beyond our direct control.

We have chosen partners who are making credible, measurable commitments and who report transparently on progress. We will continue to push for faster timelines and explore alternatives as they become viable. What we will not do is present our Net Zero 2050 commitment as though this constraint does not exist. It does, and we think our clients, partners, and investors deserve to know that.

Social responsibility

Our social responsibility commitments extend beyond environmental performance. We promote flexible work arrangements, equal opportunity, and professional development across all of our businesses, and we require the same standards of our manufacturers and vendors. Our supplier duediligence process includes assessment of compliance with local employment lawsand confirmation that no modern slavery occurs at any point in our supply chain.

We support digital literacy initiatives in our community andprovide free technology support and services to registered charities, including Every Little Bit Helps. We prioritise local suppliers and technology partners where viable, and we are actively exploring further community contribution opportunities as the group grows.

Governance and ethics

The Glue Group operates with ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 certification, audited annually by BSI. These management systems govern ourquality and information security practices across the group. Our governance framework includes strong internal controls, cybersecurity measures, and supplier due diligence - all of which are subject to independent external audit.

We adhere to all relevant laws, financial regulations, andindustry standards across every market in which we operate, supported by local legal and accounting expertise in each region. We uphold fair business practices, avoid conflicts of interest, and ensure that decision-making at thegroup level aligns with long-term sustainability and stakeholder trust.

What comes next

Our 2023-2026 strategic plan sets the current sustainability roadmap. Beyond 2026, we are committed to publishing an updated strategy that reflects our progress, addresses remaining gaps, and sets more granular interim targets on the path to Net Zero 2050. We are evaluating formal carbon measurement and reporting infrastructure to underpin that next phase.

If you are a client, partner, investor, or procurement teamwith specific questions about our sustainability position, our GRI-alignedreporting, or our supply chain practices, I welcome direct engagement.
